Teijin Limited Resin & Plastic Processing Business Unit exhibited at Chinaplas 2026, held in Shanghai, China from April 21 to 24, 2026.
At the exhibition, in harmony with the Teijin Group’s purpose, “Pioneering solutions together for a healthy planet,” and the event theme of “Transformation, Collaboration and Sustainability,” we showcased sustainable materials and technologies, including solvent-based recycling, and proposed solutions tailored to customer needs.

A key highlight for us was that our polycarbonate (PC) resin produced using solvent-based recycling technology received the “Innovation of the Year 2026” award.
Selected from more than 5,000 exhibitors, this award honors technologies demonstrating outstanding innovation and social significance. This recognition underscores the international significance of our environmentally responsible technology.
Our proprietary solvent-based recycling technology dissolves and purifies used PC resin, restoring it to a quality equivalent to virgin resin. This contributes to both resource circulation and reduced environmental impact.
