Introduction
The growing adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), along with advances in high-frequency communications, is increasing the importance of electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding for electronic equipment and automotive components. While conventional metal materials provide excellent EMI shielding performance, they present challenges in terms of weight, processability, and manufacturing complexity.
Teijin has offered polycarbonate (PC)-based EMI shielding materials that combine lightweight properties with excellent processability.
